ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ:

The training is a practice-based learning for people who are interested in youth work. By participating in the course, you will gain knowledge on how to use:

- non-formal methods of education

- online platforms and technologies in education

- organisational psychology methods and practices.

Participants will develop their own skills of running effective training and teaching audience. This course provides methods and tools to ensure effective learning process. Participants will learn through practice - an important way of maximising the effectiveness and the results.

PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS: 

• You are employed in the youth sector or are working with young people

• You are trainer, educator, social worker, volunteer or facilitator of non-formal learning

• You are ready to explore different non-formal methods

• You have your own motivation and strong arguments to participate in the training course

• You have willingness to spread the results of the training and to promote them in your

community

• You have a sufficient level of English as a working language – basic knowledge

• You are committed to being active during the whole process of the training – preparation before, the course itself and evaluation afterwards.

The course is suitable for youth workers and youth leaders, who want to upgrade their knowledge and skills for teaching and inspiring and who believe in the power of education as a sustainable and effective tool for making changes in the world.

THE LOCATION

The Training Course will take place in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

Συμμετέχοντες: 6 άτομα 18-30 ετών 
συν 1 αρχηγός ομάδας άνω των 18

Καλύπτονται 100% διαμονή και διατροφή (3 γεύματα τη μέρα)
και εισιτήρια έως το ποσό των 275 ευρώ. 

Στους συμμετέχοντες μετά το τέλος του προγράμματος, θα δοθεί το πιστοποιητικό Youthpass που είναι αναγνωρισμένο σε όλη την Ε.Ε.

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ:

Initiate is an Erasmus+ international youth exchange, with partners from 6 European countries: Romania, Poland, Croatia, Portugal, Latvia, Greece. 

The location for activities is Poiana Negrii, a small picturesque mountain village located near Vatra Dornei, a popular resort in the Carpathian Mountains of Northern Romania. 

“Initiate” project will offer young people entrepreneurial education, by developing the necessary skills for their professional development. By getting involved in the project, we aim to motivate young people to fulfill their potential and career goals, so that they become successful citizens, well placed in the economic and social flow.

OBJECTIVES:

- To offer entrepreneurship education to young people and to develop the necessary skills, identifying 5 sustainable business ideas.

- To provide young people with practical working tools, creating and distributing "Young Entrepreneur's Guide" to 10,000 contacts.

- To support young people in launching entrepreneurial activities and to promote entrepreneurship among young people, creating and promoting motivational videos.

TRAVEL INFORMATION:

You will arrive in Cluj-Napoca (or simply Cluj, as most Romanians prefer to call it) at the Avram Iancu Airport (CLJ). It is the only airport in the city of Cluj-Napoca and the biggest one in Transylvania: http://airportcluj.ro/

The arrival day to Cluj-Napoca is 6 March 2022 at maximum 18:00 in the evening!

The arrival hour is like this because we need to leave for Poiana Negrii in the evening by bus and we will travel through the night, arriving possibly after midnight on 7 March 2022!

You can also arrive 1 or 2 days earlier to visit Cluj-Napoca, on your own expense.

The meeting point for the departure to Poiana Negrii will be at an accessible location in Cluj-Napoca and set later on.

The departure back to Cluj-Napoca will be on 16 March 2022 around midnight, so make sure you have flights that leave around 6:00 at the earliest on 17 March, because we will, again, travel through the night in order to reach Cluj-Napoca on 17 March!

You can also stay in Cluj-Napoca 1-2 days later and visit, on your own expense.

📍 THE LOCATION

We chose a location that is in the middle of the mountainous nature that also benefits fully of the comfort of modern life. It is a place that we know very well and used in many other projects in the past.

Fresh & Eco Products

We will have our meals at the restaurant of our accommodation, serving fresh eco products from the country side. We will have many typical Romanian meals with meat because all the products served are from ecological farms and households in the area. 

*The mountains of the area are very beautiful, so we might organize one hiking trip (8-9 hours, medium difficulty) with the entire group, so it would be mandatory to have proper hiking equipment if you wish to take part :)

Συμμετέχοντες: 5 άτομα 18-26 ετών 
συν 1 αρχηγός ομάδας άνω των 18

Καλύπτονται 100% διαμονή και διατροφή (3 γεύματα τη μέρα)
και εισιτήρια έως το ποσό των 275 ευρώ. 

Στους συμμετέχοντες μετά το τέλος του προγράμματος, θα δοθεί το πιστοποιητικό Youthpass που είναι αναγνωρισμένο σε όλη την Ε.Ε.

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ:

Gender equality concerns us all. It is a fundamental right as well as an internationally agreed Sustainable Development Goal. Achieving gender equality is central to the protection of human rights, the functioning of democracy, respect for the rule of law, and economic growth and competitiveness. 

Objectives: -raise knowledge of the participants on gender and gender related issues -reveal and break gender stereotypes among participants, challenge false information and provide different models by constructing narrative which is in line with European values -raise awareness on the importance of gender equality and identify steps leading to gender equal society -promote gender equality -promote European values, respect for diversity, intercultural dialogue, tolerance and human rights -promote  Erasmus+ Youth programme -enhance participants skills and abilities. Ηomework for the group: -Prepare presentation of song/movie/event//TV show etc (you choose) in which gender stereotypes are promoted in your country - Prepare 2 energizer-games   - Prepare a presentation of your country – you might bring typical food or promotion material to show specifics of your country – be creative!

Participating countries: Lithuania, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Poland, Turkey.
