ABOUT THE PROGRAM

We will bring together 42 youngsters aged between 18 to 30 to learn more about the culture and promoting of cultural inheritance, using a series of non-formal tools. 

The general goal of the project us ti contribute to the education, training and awareness of young people about cultural heritage. The goal will be achieved through two directions of action: development of digital skills of young people and the acquisition of innovative techniques such as backpack journalism.

Specific objectives:

- increase the awareness of cultural heritage within a mobility that will take place during 11 days in Sinaia, Prahova county.

- development of work skills of the 42 youngsters in the social media sphere and in the use of digital tools. Thus, at the end if the activities the young people can carry out a campaign to promote and raise awareness if the local cultural heritage using innovative techniques such as backpack journalism (#YouthsLegacycampaign) .

- promoting the local cultural heritage and the Erasmus+ program through digital exhibitions in the partner communities, where digital maps of the local cultural heritage, created by 42 young people during the 11 days of mobility will be exhibited.

 

Participating countries: Romania, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Poland and Portugal.

ACTIVITIES

2- Discovering the natural environment, outdoor educational tools

3- Teambuilding, creative topic related activities

4 - Workshops, practical use of digital tools and skills activities

5- Dissemination and evaluation activities 

ACCOMMODATION

We will be hosted at Pensiunea Andree, Sinaia. Participants will be accommodated in rooms of 2 or 3.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

INVESTIGATE OUR PAST, BUILD OUR FUTURE is the continuation of our Gastronomy Museum Project. Based in our previous Erasmus+ Youth Exchange where we we worked studying some local examples of museums, making workshops, designing materials for exhibitions and sharing culinary experiences with the local community now we will build an international food museum community. We will have an introduction to social research techniques, digital maps and museology. Also we will have visits and interviews in the island. And, of course, we will have many culinary activities, visiting local spaces, cooking with the community, etc.

Τοpic: food heritage, creativity, EU citizenship and youth policies. 

OBJECTIVES

- Create a youth international team.

- Learn research and museological techniques.

- Share non formal abilities.

- Develop strong comunitary friendships.

- Know culinary tradition.

Participating countries: Spain, Greece, Turkey and Portugal.

VENUE

Casillas del Ángel, in Puerto del Rosario Municipality, Fuerteventura Island.

Dates: arrival at Fuerteventura at 18.01.23. And the departure day is 25.01.23.

Activities start at:19.01.23; and finish at 24.01.23.

ACCOMMODATION

Casa de Espiritualidad Virgen de la Peña is a hostel sited behind the church of Casillas del Ángel, in the centre of the village. Casillas del Ángel is located 15 minutes by car, to the west from Puerto del Rosario, the main town of the island.

Hostel has two floors. Ground floor has entrance-distributor, kitchen, one salon for lunch, other for workshops, one space for religious activities, collective bathrooms, elevator, ladder, and open space for open activities.

First floor has 10 rooms for 3 or 4 persons each one, shared bathrooms and an apartment with three double rooms for leaders. All the residence have wi-fi. We will give access to you.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be at the hostel except some of the days with activities outside. Hostel has working areas, WIFI, washing machine and other facilities, outside has public sports zone and public zone for barbecue.

Casillas is a small village (+/-1000 inhabitants). The village has a little primary school, a pair of small food shops, with fresh bread, fruits, etc. Also there are three bars and one restaurant. And the main square has sports spaces, library, coffee shop, cultural centre, etc.

The village is very pleasant and people live here slowly and gently.

Youth Exchange "In Media We Trust?"

Media technology as well as the media industry have changed tremendously over the last decade. Youth are confronted with opportunities and risks through traditional and digital media, which were unknown to previous generations. Media literacy has become an essential skill to be able to critically engage with media as well as fully contribute to and participate in a society saturated with media. Youth today should become responsible media consumers and creators.

The Youth Exchange "In Media we trust?" will take place in the capital of Greece, Athens. During the Youth Exchange we will deal with the above-mentioned themes as we aspire to become agents of change by turning into social and civic journalists, learning the culture of Media Literacy, create media productions on relevant issues and develop a framework for media literacy.

ACTIVITIES

Through debates, discussions, workshops, games and outdoor activities, implementing non-formal education methods, we aspire to have an insight on mass media history and learn its power to democratisation processes, for ex. in Eastern Europe during and after the Soviet Union’s collapse while at the same time explore its negative side, like state propaganda. Coming to today's reality with the great expansion of social media, we will deal with the new era where we are not just information consumers but also creators. We will explore its freedom and its limits and the existing problems of media. Based on our own research and experience, we will present our realities and issues of the media in our countries and discuss the similarities and differences between us. What is important is that we will discuss the power of media under the scope of democracy, social inclusion, human rights, gender equality, youth participation and find ways to promote them and raise our voice. At last, we will learn how to protect ourselves from fake news and media manipulation. We will create advertising campaigns where we will implement all the knowledge acquired during these 10 days which we will present to the local community on an open event on the last day. By this practice, we will speak up and show what we have learnt and most importantly, how to use the media to promote youth participation and social causes such as solidarity and gender equality. We will engage and interact with the local community in most of our outdoor activities, including our intercultural evenings.

LOCATION

We will stay at Orion Dryades Hotel at the heart of Athens. Our workshops will take place at the hotel, in an outdoor amphitheater and around the city :)

Η ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ DREAMTEAM ΜΑΣ ΜΕΤΑΦΕΡΕΙ ΤΗΝ ΕΜΠΕIΡΙΑ ΤΗΣ ΑΠΟ ΤΟ EKΠΑΙΔΕΥΤΙΚΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ "Positive Discipline" ΣΤΗΝ ΒΟΥΛΓΑΡΙΑ

H oμάδα της DreamTeam συμμετείχε στo Eκπαιδευτικό Πρόγραμμα  Erasmus+ "Positive Discipline" που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Βουλγαρία από τις 8  έως τις 16 Οκτωβρίου 2022.

Σκοπός του προγράμματος ήταν η μάθηση της διαχείρισης και η αντιμετώπιση δύσκολων καταστάσεων που προκύπτουν σε ποικίλα περιβάλλοντα μάθησης (working environments). 

Η ελληνική αποστολή μας μεταφέρει την εμπειρία της: 

"Το πρόγραμμα αυτό ήταν μια μοναδική και σίγουρα ανεκτίμητη εμπειρία. Μέσα από αυτό το training course γνωρίσαμε και δεθήκαμε με 30 διαφορετικά άτομα, μοιραστήκαμε συναισθήματα και εμπειρίες απ΄το παρελθόν μας αλλά και δημιουργήσαμε νέες μαζί! Για μένα ήταν ένα μοναδικό συναίσθημα το να βρίσκεσαι με τόσους διαφορετικούς ανθρώπους από άλλες χώρες και με τόσο διαφορετικά backgrounds, αλλά ταυτόχρονα να έχετε τόσα κοινά, να μοιράζεστε τους ίδιους προβληματισμούς αλλά και όνειρα.
Οι δραστηριότητες στα πλαίσια του θέματος Positive Discipline είχαν μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον. Μέσα από τα workshops, τα παιχνίδια, τα teambuilding events αλλά και τα sessions με ειδικούς  πραγματικά νιώθω ότι απέκτησα νέες γνώσεις και καινούργιο perspective και τρόπο σκέψης. Πιο συγκεκριμένα η ιδέα του project ήταν να μας δοθεί η ευκαιρία να εξασκηθούμε στην διαχείριση διαφορετικών περιβαλλόντων μάθησης και στην αντιμετώπιση νέων και δύσκολων καταστάσεων που μπορούν να προκύψουν σε κάθε τέτοιο περιβάλλον. Μέσα από διαδραστικά σενάρια και αναπαραστάσεις τέτοιων καταστάσεων αναπτύξαμε στρατηγικές για την επίλυση των δυσκολιών αυτών και σχέδια δράσης για την αντιμετώπιση τους με σεβασμό και αποτελεσματικότητα. Πέρα απ το  training όμως, η διοργανώτρια ομάδα ήταν φανταστική, μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν το σπίτι μας και μας βοήθησαν να ανακαλύψουμε μαζί την Σόφια και να την ζήσουμε σαν να είμαστε από εκεί! 

Αυτό ήταν το πρώτο μου Erasmus+ και σίγουρα θα ακολουθήσουν πολλά ακόμα καθώς δεν είναι απλά ένα ταξίδι, είναι μια φανταστική εμπειρία ζωής!"

"Στο πρόγραμμα συμμετείχαν άτομα διάφορων ηλικιών από 13 χώρες, ο καθένας με πολύ διαφορετικό εκπαιδευτικό και εργασιακό υπόβαθρο, κι έτσι δημιουργήθηκε μία ομάδα με απίστευτη ποικιλομορφία, μέσα στην οποία όλοι έμαθαν πολλά πράγματα και εκτέθηκαν σε οπτικές γωνίες, σκέψεις και απόψεις εντελώς νέες και ασυνήθιστες για το δικό τους περιβάλλον. Μέσα σε αυτές τις μέρες μοιραστήκαμε, συζητήσαμε, γελάσαμε και ήρθαμε κοντά. 

Όλες οι δραστηριότητες και τα trainings είχαν πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα θεματολογία, έγιναν από καταρτισμένους εκπαιδευτές και κάθε φορά μας έδιναν τροφή για σκέψη και γεννούσαν πολύ αξιόλογες συζητήσεις μεταξύ μας. Ο χώρος που μας φιλοξένησε ήταν ιδανικός και φυσικά η ομάδα από τον Βουλγάρικο οργανισμό Can You που διοργάνωσε το πρόγραμμα ήταν απίστευτα φιλόξενη και γεμάτη σεβασμό απέναντί μας, φρόντισε να μην μας λείψει τίποτα. Παράλληλα, ο ελεύθερος χρόνος μας ήταν αρκετός για να εξερευνήσουμε την πανέμορφη Σόφια, η οποία ήταν κατά πολύ ανώτερη των προσδοκιών μου. Είχαμε την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουμε την πόλη μέσα από τα μάτια των ντόπιων, πράγμα το οποίο μας έκανε να αγαπήσουμε ακόμη περισσότερο το μέρος και την κουλτούρα της χώρας συνολικά. 

Ήταν μια ιδανική πρώτη εμπειρία σε πρόγραμμα Erasmus+, φεύγω γεμάτη με συναισθήματα, γνώσεις και όμορφες εμπειρίες, και ανυπομονώ να το ζήσω ξανά σύντομα!"
