Η ανταλλαγή συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ τηςΕυρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και καλύπτει στους συμμετέχοντες διαμονή, διατροφή (3 γεύματα την ημέρα) ΣΥΝ ταξιδιωτικά έξοδα έως 309 ευρώ.
Μετά την επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος οι συμμετέχοντες θαλάβουν πιστοποιητικό Youthpass.
Ατομική συνεισφορά: 50 ευρώ

Aim of the project
The training course “Europe(s) – from Greek goddess to the
concept of community” addresses the evolving conceptions
of Europe and European identity from ancient times to the
present.
The training course aims to explore the concept of
Europe (geographical space) and European identity (shared
values, common legacies, and goals) in different historical
contexts and from the perspective of diverse stakeholders
to understand who the Europeans are, where are “we”
coming from and towards where are “we” going.
Objectives of the project
• To reinforce the analytical capacity of the participants through discussion of the term “Europe” and its usage based on cultural and geopolitical contexts in different historical periods and of the diverse political and economic powers arising during those periods.
• To examine the question of the internal and external borders of Europe and its boundaries to tackle the phenomenon of immigration.
• To provide competencies (skills, knowledge, attitude) required for exploration and discussion of the specific values, ideas and cultural traditions (for example, pluralism, democracy) that were acknowledged and so defined what European culture stands for.
• To familiarize with the concept of “European identity” in the frame of collective identity.
• To empower the participants to take an active role in the construction/reshaping of the “European identity” as an element for the community's feelings of unity and equality.
Profile of participants
• Demonstrate prior experience in youth empowerment and express motivation to further their knowledge.
• Have clearly defined learning needs and shared expectations for the training course.
• Be open to and appreciate non-formal learning in a highly diverse context.
• Be committed to engaging in the entire long-term learning process, including taking responsibility for self- directed learning and achieving learning outcomes, as well as maintaining a high level of motivation.
• Possess the ability to reflect on their learning process and critically assess their learning outcomes.
• Show a high level of commitment to follow-up activities and networking opportunities.
VENUE&ACCOMMODATION
All participants will be accommodated in the hostel “Balcony”.
The hostel is situated near the metro station Barekamutyun from which it takes just 10 minutes to get to the city center.
The rooms will be shared by 3, 4 or 5 people of the same gender (bathrooms will be also shared among the participants).
The number of people per room will depend on the final gender composition of the group. You will be provided with bed linens. Each person will have also its wardrobe with a locker. The rooms will be cleaned upon the request.

We are responsible for keeping the area clean: each day there will be duty teams to wash the dishes and we will have 2 cleaning days for the building (in the middle of the project and the last day).
