ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ:

Hate speech offline and online is a phenomenon of concern for the organizations involved in this partnership.

The rapid development and use of social media, especially by young people, has created new ways of communication and interaction.

This environment is anonymous and has fewer constraints - young people can post online expressing hate towards others, can hide behind anonymity and their comments or posts can be easily shared and spread further.
Hate speech offline happens often in work environments, at school and in universities where young people spend a lot of their time.

OBJECTIVES:

- 42 youngsters, in 9 days, will become more aware on the topic of hate speech online & offline and human rights
- 42 youngsters, in 9 days, will develop skills and motivation to recognize hate speech
- 42 youngsters and 7 organizations will organize activities that prevent online & offline hate speech for 4 months.
- 42 youngsters, in 9 days, will recognize tools and methods in tackling online and offline hate speech
- 42 youngsters, in 9 days, will share the realities of hate speech online & offline from their own countries
