Συμμετέχοντες: 4 άτομα 18-26 ετών

Καλύπτονται 100% διαμονή και διατροφή (3 γεύματα τη μέρα)
και εισιτήρια έως το ποσό των 275 ευρώ.

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ:

The goal of this project is to approach power of media in critical way by promoting youth critical thinking and the ability to combat risks posed by new media. Due to lack of experience and critical thinking - tolerance, justice, solidarity and non-discrimination, that are values promoted by the European Union, are not internalized. 

Project aims to help young people identify fake news & develop media literacy to help dispose of discrimination&stereotypes. Activities will also focus on examining the role and impact of fake news in creating prejudices and stereotypical images of vulnerable social groups, such as migrants and refugees.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

-to increase participants’ awareness of power of media in constructing realities/identities

-to develop more critical and selective approach towards media messages, provide youth with critical tools to question,

evaluate and analyse what they hear and read

-to identify how stereotypes are generated by media and the manners in which stereotypical concepts affect young people’s attitudes

-to explore the phenomenon of fake news and propaganda and increase participants abilities to recognize it

-to learn how to understand new social media language - memes and selfies

-to explore ways of using media to promote tolerance

-through NFE methods improve participants skills (digital, intercultural, communication)

-to enhance participants’ knowledge of Erasmus+ Programme to encourage development of new project ideas and initiatives 

Participating countries: Lithuania, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania 

ACCOMMODATION:

Participants will be accommodated in MEDA HOUSE (Mickevčiaus 132 Zujunai, Vilniaus Apskritis - around 20 km from Vilnius airport) in 7 rooms divided by gender and mixed by country.

Each room has separate bathroom, shower, hairdryer, towels.
